Nail art has become so special to me during the course of learning how to do my own nails. I remember when the itch started, I watched amazing artists DESTROY amazing art by cutting off the acrylic and starting over. My heart would break for them! How can you destroy something so beautiful? Once I saw how intricate nail art can get I've started to wonder why we don't have physical spaces donated to nail art and I plan to remedy that issue... Stay tuned!
I will bridge modern art and nail art in a way that has never been seen before. It's a huge task but it's time for nail artists to be regarded alongside the painters, the sculptors and every which way you can experience art in the mainstream. I always come across people who tell me that they can't keep press ons, or they end up breaking them because they're too rough on them. I am a stay home mom of two feisty girls, and I use my hands all day every day, especially as an artist. My press on nails never grow out, they don't get dull and you can put them on and take them off as often or as little as you want!
