Into the Art

I would consider Finding the Fae to be my biggest art piece yet simply because of the intricacy of the painting along with the 3D elements featured on it. I had been thinking about doing a fairy garden set because I was inspired by the moss nails trending on Instagram. I loved the 3D look of the moss, but if there is anything to know about me it's that even if I'm going to follow a trend I must find my own way to make it different. In this case, the grass nails were the very base of the nails. (Fun fact: I painted the grass individually and I LOVE painting grass!) I wanted this set to tell a story, which I ultimately wrote after finishing and I am very proud of it as a whole. I also wanted you to FEEL like you were in the forest as you looked at this set. It's meant to give distance, a feeling of warmth, and friendly naked fairies going about their fairy business. Soon, the entire collection of sets I make will make an entire actual fairy forest which excites me in a way I cant explain!

I've always wanted my nails to not only to be the art, but to also be part of a bigger exhibition, sometimes photos, and in this case a story you can take with you for however long you wear your nails. My absolute favorite thing about making my art custom is that I am ALWAYS improving so not only is my art better, but I genuinely make each set specifically for my customer. Essentially, you'll be featured as a fairy in your very own painting... how cool is that?! I also get to make little fairy forests and each fairy has their own personality, and every painting is different, meaning no one else in the world will have your same design. Talk about exclusive.

When I first listed this set, I listed it as a leap of faith, why not? I didn't really think anyone would ever buy them, and I was not even sure I could recreate that set on a smaller canvas! A lot of the work I do, I'm trying it out for the first time! If I can convince you to do anything in your lifetime, it is to try the thing you don't think you're good at! You might love it and people might PAY you to make it for them! I'm even more thankful someone bought this set because it gave me the chance to be even more artistic, and fix the things I didn't particularly care for with my own set.

I am extremely proud of myself and my art, and I would love to create your own little fairy forest, so shop at the link below. In the meantime, check out some photos of my painting process, and a look at the differences between the set I made for me, and for my customer! Thank you so much for coming on this journey with me! I appreciate it even more than you know! -Renee <3
