The Fruit Series

Just before the Labubu craze, I had discovered another heavily collected series- Sonny Angel dolls which according to google are, "small collectible figurines of baby angels designed to bring happiness and joy." Personally, I love that sentiment and I created all my fruit babies with the intent of companionship, joy, and love! Admittedly, the first time I saw a Sonny Angel was on Pinterest and I specifically thought they were small attachable figurines for your phone case and that was the sole inspiration for my fruit babies. When I looked into the matter further I realized the babies were naked! I thought it was funny and cute until I FURTHER realized that they were actually collectible figurine dolls that were always front naked! It also bothered me there was only one skin tone of the doll until I read that it is the same angel, which I guess is more acceptable. I love to see myself in my art, and I also want my customers to see themselves when they look at my art so you can choose either peach or brown for your fruit baby! Each baby is different and I can't wait for you to see how! I'll add pictures of my inspiration directly below, but without further ado, I present The Fruit Series!
